Government Mohindra college, Patiala has an excellent infrastructure with a vast campus area that spread over 21.70 acres. The main building of the college is a heritage building which was constructed in the year 1875. The campus is divided into different blocks viz. Science block, PTA block, MA block, HEIS block etc. for the ease of the students. There are a total of 92 sufficiently large classrooms with adequate facilities for ventilation and lighting. There are four smart classrooms with LMS facilities on the campus.

The college has 16 labs to cater for the needs of both science and humanity students. The labs are equipped with the latest facilities as per the academic requirements. Here the students are allowed to have hands-on experience on various equipment/instruments. There is a well-maintained life-sciences museum also on the college campus having a large number of both ancient and modern biological specimens.

The college is equipped with a well maintained main library with a huge number of books and Journals. Besides this central library, most of the departments have their own libraries where the students are allowed to read and discuss their academic problems with the concerned teacher. The entire Campus has a Wi-Fi facility. The college also has three multipurpose halls which are used for various academic, cultural and sports activities. Out of these three multipurpose halls, one (Sabha Bhawan) is equipped with ICT facilities.

The college campus also has a girls’ hostel, playgrounds, athletic track, Gym and various courts. Government Mohindra College has a rich legacy of producing sportspersons at par –the Indian level. The college has a student Athletic track of 400 m. The college has three Basketball Courts (28 m x 15 m each) and one Volleyball Court (18 m x 9 m). Besides this college also has Table tennis, Badminton and International level High Jump facilities. The college actively promotes Yoga among its students. Both indoor and outdoor facilities yoga are available in the form of closed multipurpose halls and open playfields. For the purpose of promoting fitness among its students, the college has a functional Gym (23.8 x 39 feet). College students also use Vertical rope climbing (30 feet) and Vertical Bars (9 x 4 feet) for fitness and sports purposes. The college grounds are used for multiple games like Netball, Softball, Hockey, Soccer, Kabaddi, Kho-kho, Tug of war and Baseball.

The availability of adequate infrastructure and physical facilities in the college is crucial for creating a conducive environment for learning. The college has dedicated security personnel deployed at all entrances and exit points. The CCTV surveillance systems are fully functional. A well-equipped and comfortable campus fosters a positive and motivating atmosphere that supports learning environment for students and growth of all stakeholders.
