The current era is the era of Information and communication technology. The exposure to digital movement has affected the lives of urban students positively, but rural students are still lagging behind them. Owing to the huge upsurge in technological advances in education, the Institution is well facilitated with profuse IT facilities which enable an ICT-based teaching-learning system. For high-speed internet and seamless connectivity, secured Wifi access is implemented in this institution by the Jionet service provider as per Punjab Government tie-up and has been set up with the username jionet@mohindra_college.

The available LAN connectivity of Wi-Fi is 100 Mbps. The IT facilities are provided in various departments of the institution including computers, printers, scanners, software programs, projectors etc. There are 195 computers and approximately 30 printers installed in the administrative office, Library, and various departments. College has 3 computer labs which comprise 119 computers which are upgraded with the latest technology and according to university syllabi. The curriculum emphasizes the capability and concern towards the application of computers in their day-to-day life. There are 25 computers which are installed in the Language lab for practising listening and speaking skills for students to help in making good hand at language.

The classic Chalk-Board teaching has its own limitations and to overcome that contemporary are enabled to promote competency and improve efficiency. Therefore, there are four smart classrooms which are installed in the Science, Computer and Law department to enable the use of audio-visual means of teaching. These Smart Classrooms are employed for arranging Seminars, Conferences and better understanding of concepts under the student’s curriculum. Furthermore, for the interactive session in the student learning and teaching tools, various projectors are harnessed by departments such as Physics, Chemistry, and Zoology for scientific and experimental projects. One Projector and E-podium have been installed in Sabha Bhawan for extension lectures, Formal Meetings and Departmental Functions. The Institution is welled up with 3 K-YAN Software which offers learning content in multimedia, online assignments and virtual sessions among teachers and students to create a blended mode of teaching and learning process.

The Institution also has one virtual classroom which is an imperative element for classroom teaching that enables video session courses where interaction with various learning resources takes place among students and tutors over the internet. The Professors provide world-class teaching using ICT facilities by PowerPoint presentations and other learning materials. It brings escalated participation of the students and ensures knowledge by adopting state-of-the-art technology. ICT enables students to learn more using such innovative techniques. Library automation using an Integrated Library Management System, subscription to e-resources, and regular usage monitoring are essential components of a modern, efficient, and user-friendly library system in a PG college.
